01

Where it fits

6F2 is a coarse recycled aggregate used in suitable fill and capping applications where specified. It is not the same material as MOT Type 1. The grading, composition and engineering requirements must match the job.

02

What to confirm

Confirm the specification and any required testing or certification. Recycled products vary with their feedstock, so do not infer suitability for a structural or drainage use from the product name alone.

03

Plan your quantity

Use the calculator for a preliminary quantity and include the intended layer in your enquiry. For a specified construction project, provide the relevant drawings or material requirement.

04

Delivery details that help

Include your site postcode, the material name, approximate tonnage and the intended drop position. Flag narrow gates, parked vehicles, overhead obstructions and weak surfaces. The team confirms the material, safe access and delivery charge before the order is booked.

05

Check the role of recycled fill.

Discuss recycled 6F2 for suitable bulk fill and construction layers where the proposed product is accepted by the project design. Ask the team about the available material, its grading and any product information you need. Do not assume it can replace a specified Type 1 sub-base without approval from the person responsible for that specification.

06

Keep removal and fill as separate requirements.

If excavation material needs removing before recycled aggregate arrives, provide a description and estimated quantity for each movement. Explain whether collection creates the only tipping area and what stage depends on delivery. The calculator is a starting point for the loose quantity; the final order and practical sequence need confirmation.
